Wind Ensemble- Grades 10-12 - Period 9 Wind Ensemble is a performance ensemble class that meets daily at JFK. Ensemble membership is by audition only (Spring of the upcoming school year) Students are expected to perform at a very high level of performance. They work on developing superior tone production, advanced rhythm skills, tuning, intonation, phrasing, expression, musicality, sensitivity, and much much more! Over the years ensembles have performed at: Walt Disney World (2011)Washington DC/Virginia (2010) In addition each year the wind ensemble is visited by a guest clinician sponsored by the JFK Music Boosters.
